What’s (ALWAYS) in my purse?

Well I think most of you can relate – you know, the sidekick that usually hangs off your shoulder.. permanently giving you back pain? Yes, I’m talking about my purse. In this case, I’m referring to a pretty pale pink Prada tote. If there is one thing that I NEVER leave my house without, it would be that. I know all you ladies have experienced the sheer panic of being half way to work only to notice your life line is not sitting in the seat beside you.

Gary always jokes about me being Mary Poppins, he cannot believe how much I can fit in my bag. I’m your go-to-girl when you spill Rosé on your new white dress.. okay sometimes I’m coming to my own rescue too. Tide-to-go is seriously a lifesaver.

There are a few staples that have found a home in my purse, and that I can now never live without. Firstly, I always have my Prada wallet, which is favorite wallet EVER. I haven’t let that out of my sight since the day I got it. Then there’s my Iphone, which I might as well call my e-mail machine, and is basically attached to my hand (but on a rare occurrence is also thrown in my purse).

I also have my cosmetic essentials, my favorite being Burt’s Bees towelettes. These wipes come in handy for EVERYTHING, from make up mix ups, to spilling green smoothie on Gary’s shoes. I ALWAYS have Blistex lip chap – Vancouver’s weather is at constant war with my lips leaving them dry almost all the time (if it weren’t for Blistex, ofcourse). Speaking of Vancouver’s weather, my La Biosthetique hairspray is very helpful in fighting the humidity, making this a must have in my purse at ALL TIMES, and it comes in travel size!

I always carry my Favorite Bare Mineral Nude lip gloss. I always toss it on after a workout and it leaves me feeling slightly more put together.

PS. The Saje Wellness Headache Remedy, Peppermint Halo is an on-the-go cure for any head and neck pains AND it smells delicious.

Last but definitely not least, I have my two most special items in my purse. One is a photo of my mother and I and the other is a love note from Gary. These are for those moments when I need to feel some love!! Reminds me of how lucky I am and how much I appreciate the people in my life. I spend so much time travelling, so it’s important for me to bring along a little piece of home.

What do you carry in your purse? Any important items I’m missing?
