Did that headline catch your attention haha!? While I won’t be sharing any intimate bedroom details with you today, I WILL be sharing how we elevated our space with some amazing new artwork! We’ve been decorating the master bedroom for a while now, and although you know I LOVE decor, this particular project has taken on a life of its own and turned out to be a lot bigger than we had planned. Isn’t that always the way? One aspect I was super excited about was adding some new artwork to our bedroom! I wanted to keep this as simple as possible and Poster Store made it so easy to bring to life.

Poster Store has some gorgeous gallery wall inspiration you can pull from to create your own in all sorts of styles and sizes to achieve the right look for your space. Their site is packed with TONS of gorgeous, high-quality prints to suit any room or design style. I love that all their posters are printed on sustainably produced paper in Stockholm and have that chic Scandinavian vibe. And some exciting news… in case you’re looking to add some timeless posters to your own home, Poster Store is offering an exclusive 35% discount to my readers!! The discount code is natalie.35 and is valid for one month (more details down below). Today I’ll be sharing how easy it was to elevate our bedroom with posters to give you some inspiration for your next project!

Gallery Wall

I knew I wanted to start with a mini gallery wall above our reading nook and needed the artwork to fit in seamlessly with our vintage looking teal chair from Mobilia Canada. Looking up at it now, I think we really nailed it and the posters play perfectly off the other elements in this corner!

I was immediately drawn to this iconic black and white Brigitte Bardot poster. I felt like seeing her every morning would stir up some confident, feminine energy which we could all use lol!

Continuing with the Hollywood vibes I chose this black and white palm tree poster of LA! LA will always have a piece of my heart. At one time I thought I wanted to live there; I imagine a lot of us have felt that way at one time or another… Chalk it up to a 90210 fantasy haha! So I definitely wanted to bring a bit of these palm trees to life in our room.

I also wanted to tie in a more delicate print to play off our chair’s vintage look and loved the Spring Peonies poster for that. The poster has some stunning contrast that also tied in the black and white posters even though this one was a colour print! We framed them all in gold, and voila! Our reading nook came together just like that.

Accent Prints

To accent our dresser, I chose two more prints to lean up against our dreamy new Presley Floor Mirror from Urban Barn. We loved this mirror so much and decided to mount it horizontally on top of our dresser to open up the room. I knew I wanted something light and airy to counteract the dark dresser and carpet. I’ll be adding a cream coloured rug to brighten up the space even more, stay tuned for more decor updates! The Make Magic and Pearl Rose posters were so elegant and whimsical which made them the perfect fit. I chose white wooden frames to let the prints speak for themselves and really pop.

Another project we’re working on is creating a gallery wall for our staircase! It’s going to be AMAZING if I do say so myself! My inspiration is old Hollywood with a modern twist, and it’s going to be much much bigger than the mini gallery wall in our bedroom. I can’t wait to show you once it has all come together.

Well, there you have it, a full reveal of our brand new Poster Store prints! I hope you love them as much as we do and are feeling inspired to add some artwork to your home. Don’t forget about my exclusive discount code with Poster Store that’s valid for one month! I’ll keep you all posted as we continue to update our master bedroom and bring in new elements. Let me know in the comments which print is your favourite!

Discount code natalie.35 can be used for 35% off your purchase on Poster Store. Select posters and frames are excluded, and the discount code cannot be combined with other discounts promotions.
