Well ladies, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and in the spirit of L-O-V-E, why not show YOURSELF a little love!?! It’s so easy to get caught up in the everyday hustle of life — running around (with or without kids), working M-F (and let’s be real, usually more), trying to stay in touch with everybody in a time where we can’t socialize. Sometimes we need to get in touch with the person that matters most: ourselves!!! Today I’ll be sharing some of my favourite things to gift yourself this Feb 14th. Whether you’re single, in a relationship, or somewhere in between, nobody knows you better than yourself, and you SO deserve it!!

Wellness

It’s more important than ever to check in on your own wellness and make sure you’re showing up every day for yourself! I know firsthand how hard it can be sometimes. With Pierce running around and another little one on the way, most days I’m the last person I’m thinking about.

Saje’s new limited edition Goddess Goals kit is the perfect way to kickstart your wellness routine! The set features rose, jasmine, and neroli essential oils (some of my favourites) that make me feel like I’ve been transported to a spa.

A perfect add-on, these Prayer Beads from The Cross Decor & Design are so great, I have them in just about every colour! They help me remind myself to stay present and in the moment when I need it most.

If you’re looking to take your cleansing routine to the next level, this adorable Cleansing Kit by Swoon Skin will do the trick. It comes with everything you need to cleanse, gently exfoliate, and remove ALL your makeup with only water!!!! Perfect for simplifying your beauty routine.

Treat your pits to something au-natural with I Luv It’s very V-day appropriate ‘Naturally Sensitive Sweetheart’ sensitive formula!

The holy grail of self-care, this Valentine’s Day set from Brush Salon seriously has EVERYTHING you could want to gift yourself. They also have an amazing selection of skincare and wellness goodies on the site that you can use AfterPay for, which lets you pay with 4 interest-free payments! You can purchase these items in their box or separately. I’ve listed them for you below.

  1. Magicstripes Magnetic Youth Mask $26 Retail Price
  2. Agent Nateur Bath Salts $80 Retail Price
  3. Boy Smells Kush Candle $44 Retail Price
  4. Glow With It Nana Roller $48 Retail Price
  5. Manta Hair Brush Burgundy $42 Retail Price
  6. Oribe Masque For Beautiful Color $78 Retail Price

Last but not least, the Biossance Squalane and Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum is such a lifesaver. It really evens out your skin tone and is sensitive-skin-friendly, unlike other Vitamin C serums I’ve used!

Something Special

There are some things you know you don’t NEED, but you just can’t stop thinking about them!!! Since none of us are spending money on travel right now, why not spend a little extra on yourself and indulge in a special purchase? It might be the only time we can justify it LOL!

I usually get myself a new Pandora charm to mark special occasions, but I’m thinking that committing to loving myself is definitely worth a charm! This sterling silver finished Cassette charm is so adorable with its retro vibe!

I also LOVE these vegan leather wallets by Ekster. They look and feel super luxe but are made from recycled car windshields — how cool is that!? It has a discreet little button that fans out all of your cards, which makes for super easy access, especially with kids to keep tabs on!

For the Home

With spending all this extra time at home (and no end to that in sight), one of the best ways to take care of yourself is to make sure you feel your best in your home! That could mean taking on a big project or making small, thoughtful updates around the house that bring you joy.

Have you ever seen anything as cute as this heart-shaped Cast-Iron Dutch Oven by Le Creuset!? I’m always amazed by how many one pot dinners you can make in one of these, and if mine looked like this I think I’d be extra motivated to experiment! Serve up your meal in these lovely bowls from Fable Dinnerware and you’re set!

The winter months can feel dark and dreary, so what better way to brighten your days than with beautiful fresh flowers!? Celsia Florist has an amazing subscription service that delivers fresh, seasonal flowers to your door. You don’t need a man to buy you stunning flowers!

I love adding in little pops of festive colour to the house. This cozy throw from Nordstrom makes me want to bundle up and have a night in with myself.

Stay Cozy

It’s cold out there!! And is it just me or does it seem to be getting colder and colder every day — aren’t we supposed to be getting ready for Spring!? Gift yourself some cute pieces to bundle up in, you won’t regret it!

A cute PJ set somehow makes me excited to go to bed but also excited to get up in the morning. I think that’s the mark of a great pair of PJs. I have this matching pink heart set from PRIVILEGE Clothing and can confirm they give all the bedtime feels.

If you’re looking for something made with tons of love, what about one of these hand-knit toques!? This one’s called the heartstrings hat and is knit using vegan yarn made from recycled plastic. Check out Natalie’s other designs at Knitted by Natalie!

And in case you need a more obvious reminder that love is in the air, especially when it comes to yourself, the Amore Pullover from The Little White House is just the cozy gift for you. I’ve paired it with some heart-shaped soap for an extra sprinkle of amour.

Gift a Girlfriend

And last but not least, where would we be without our gal pals? I know this is supposed to be all about you, but I feel like treating your girlfriends is just as special. It doesn’t have to be anything huge, but I love showing my girlfriends (especially my single ladies) how much I care about them on Valentine’s Day.

I’m such a huge fan of Canvas Candle Co and their scents. They even put together this adorable Valentine’s Day gift box complete with dried flowers and a Sugarfina chocolate bar which would be PERFECT to gift a girlfriend.

Always a hit, dropping off some wine is such an easy way to show somebody you care. I love these Effervescence Wines from Evolve Cellars that are light, bubbly, and super luxe. Pair it with a Valentine’s Day card and voila!

I also like to gift my best girlfriends’ kids little treasures. As an alternative to sweets, this cinnamon heart scented play dough by Dough Parlour is such a fun one! It’s hand-crafted in Canada without ANY toxic ingredients.

1. Prayer Beads, Saje Goddess Goals Kit | 2. Cassette Charm | 3. Wallet | 4. Amore Sweatshirt, Heart-Shaped Soap | 5. Valentine’s Day Gift Box | 6. Cleansing Kit | 7. Throw | 8. Hair Mask, Natural Deodorant, Face Serum | 9. Play Dough | 10. Valentine’s Day Card, Wine | 11. Toque | 12. Heart Pj’s | 13. Dutch Oven, Dinnerware | 14. Floral Subscription

There you have it! A gift guide designed to treat yourself this Valentine’s Day, but really, any day will do! Loving yourself is just as important as loving others, and what better way to show yourself some love than with a few indulgences to get you through the next chunk of lockdown LOL! What do you like to give and receive for Valentine’s Day? Let me know in the comments!!
